Constellation is a performance group for young people with additional needs, aged 13+ who really enjoy performing.
Sessions are held weekly on a Thursday evening 6.00 – 8.00 pm (term-time only).
Our young people work with their tutor and volunteers to learn the skills of mime, singing, dancing and performing. The content of the weekly sessions varies depending on performance schedules.
Constellation hold an annual show which they choreograph and produce themselves, with the support of highly skilled staff and volunteers. In addition to this large-scale production, Constellation perform at festivals and competitions throughout the Teesside area. The group also have the opportunity to watch amateur and professional shows at theatres within the local area.
All specific and additional needs of the members are supported by our experienced staff and no previous experience of performing is necessary.
